Writers/Editors

We don’t publish the names of the writers of SecurityWonk for one simple reason: we want them to be free to say whatever they want without fear of reprisal from their employers, co-workers, or vendors.

That said, when we say they are “Security Experts” we mean it. All SecurityWonk contributers have are CISSP (or similar) certified and have at least 5 years IT Security experience. Intersted in contributing to Security Wonk? Read Contributing.

Advertising

It takes money to pay for good hosting and good contributers. We take advertising to pay the bills. If you are interested in advertising on Security Wonk, read Advertising.

We have a high ethical standard for what we allow to advertise on Security Wonk. We don’t take ads for things that are illegal or generally do more harm than good. We also reject ads from products or services that are snake-oil, shady, lousy or we couldn’t imagine using ourselves. We just don’t our name associated with that kind of stuff.
